Another well designed model from Sunstar. This manufacturer has become well known for their models' attention to even the smallest details. The Morris minor traveller was Morris' attempt to provide a small station wagon with a rear bench seat that could be folded down. And the two front seats were able to move forward, as the back, this one more access to the interior of the vehicle. The paintwork is perfect, and the wood stripping on the rear portion of the vehicle is real wood, which gives more authentication. to it. The lighting of both main lights included the old flip out turn signal, so well known on British cars of that period. The bonnet was kept up by the use of rods on both bonnet and boot. As it was used frequently, on all small British vehicles at this time.

The detail of the interior is incredible. I have seen and driven a lot of this period of Morris Minors, and can attest to the accuracy of what has been reproduced here. This shows the fitting of the simple single instrument console. Only manual gearboxes were available.
Gear gear shift, handbrakes, and steering wheel have been scaled to the correct size. The front wheels can be turned using the steering wheel. On this model, we can open the quarter side windows, and even the sunviser is movable. The details even incorporate the correct pattern on the rubber mats. The back doors can be opened by turning the door handle. Also, the spare wheel can be removed and includes the tool kit.

Now the engine. Opening the bonnet with the realistic hinges, we see one of the best examples of realistic engines. Showing just about every part of that engine with such details, one would think that if it has a key, one merely needed to switch it on, and the engine would start. The detailed eclectic layout extends to all power leads to the spark plugs and distributing leads.

So this attention to detail continues to the underside of the vehicle. Underneath, we can see the attention to detail of the actual motor is repeated. With the gearbox shown in its entirety and to the exact detail, the beauty of the work can be seen at its finest. The suspension actually works, and we can see the drive shaft with the exhaust system works well.

So essentially, this is one of Sunstar’s truly great modes. They have a range of these Morris Minors of different types and years, of which the museums have 3 1;12 scale modes. Each one surprises one with the addition of surprising, to make certain changes happen that allow one more insight into this popular brand. Any items that could be improved? Only one. The rear doors fit is not good, and the doors do not open wide enough. But overall this is a must for that collector, who wants only those models that can be displayed with pride.
