Remembrance. In the heart of Eldergrove a solemn gathering takes place. The Light Mother leads the Guardians, Fae folk, Forest Folk and a few privileged mortals in a funerary procession for the fallen Guardians in the wake of the first battle against the Warlock's dark army. The fallen guardians fought valiantly for their homeland and so, it is fitting to send them on their way to the afterlife with full honours where their souls will change anew and become spirits of the forest.

In the centre of Edergrove is a clearing, sacred and surrounded by the graves those who have gone before all the inhabitants. Wisps and fairy folk guard this special and sacred place and light each mound where the fallen and those gone before lay to rest, standing in constant vigil.

One by one, hooded in pure white, the Guardians followed by the Light Mother, lay blessings upon their fallen comrades. Each stepping forward to pay their respects, placing flowers and trinkets. Each of the fallen will become a forest spirit, often seen as butterflies by mortal eyes. They will guide those who remain behind in Eldergove until it will be their turn to pass on into new life.

Tears and whispers of sorrow still however, fall as the mourners stand in sombre reflection, their hearts are heavy with grief and loss, tension as they know their battle with the Warlock and his dark army is not over, but also with hope and resilience. In time Eldergrove will heal from such an attack but for the moment all remain in the clearing, quiet, still in remembrance of the fallen guardians...
