The Battle for Eldergrove-First Encounter- dark fantasy, folk, fantasy, dark folk, pagan, dark pagan, new age folk music by @stephaniejane-music continues to story of Eldergrove.

As the dark army of the Warlock marches upon Eldergrove with malevolent intent, the Guardians of the majestic realm prepare for their first encounter with their enemy. Their hearts are filled with courage and determination.

The clash of steel and magic echoes through the ancient trees as the two forces began to collide with one another. Though the Warlocks army is strong, the Guardians do not back away. The Warlocks army ferocious in their attacks and relentless in their strikes, the Guardians resolute and unwavering push forward, attempting to weaken the Warlocks battle lines. In the midst of the chaos, the forest itself seems to come alive and the very earth rises up to aid the Guardians in their struggle. Roots and vines twist and turn around the legs and feet of the Warlock's army, ensnaring them and slowing down their advance.
The air cracked with the energy of magic spells being hurled into both sides, defenders and attackers taking many heavy blows. With determination the Guardians pushed on, with determination and goodness burning deep in their hearts, they refuse to let Eldergrove be overrun. Inch by painful inch they regain ground pushing the dark forces back towards the shadowed realm from whence they came.

As the sun sets below the trees and echoes of the battle fade the Guardians stand victorious against the dark army of the Warlock. Scanning their surroundings, the guardians victory is bittersweet. Many of their comrades had fallen against the vicious attack, much of the trees, landscape had sustained damage, rivers polluted with the blood of the dark army and those of the light and pure Guardians. Slowly the Guardians gather up the lost, carefully returning what they could find of their armour and weapons to each lost member. This their first battle was won at a great cost, for now Eldergrove was safe but, as the night wore on and the inhabitants and Light Mother came to assist the fallen ,there drew an uneasy calm, a sense of foreboding lingered, the encounter with the evil Warlock and his army was not complete. While, for now they retreated back to the shadows, the Light Mother and Guardians know that soon they will return, in greater numbers and with more ferocity than before. The entire realm of Eldergrove knew all would have a part to play in the safe keeping of their lands, their way of life, their future, but, for now the lost Guardians needed to be returned to the centre of realm and put to rest to be remembered for their heroic and valiant efforts in driving away the dark army and keeping Eldergrove safe...
