War is a tough ride. It’s hard enough coping with the fact that your peaceful life is over, but it’s worse knowing that you have been betrayed by your own government. When Russia “invaded” Ukraine back in February 2022, it was just me and my family in a town full of people deserted by their own government and military forces. Just like that, they all pretty much just up and turned tail, no goodbye no nothing, not even a heads up to prepare for the upcoming war. So what exactly happened? Why did the Ukrainian government have to abandon its own citizens at the mercy of the Russians, and is everything they show us on TV correct, according to a person who was there when shit hit the fan?!
