Israel/Lebanon: Prophecy fulfilled – the background to the war

I don't know if you follow the news but if you do then you may know that there is a very serious situation building up on the northern border of Israel. Tensions are rising between Israel and Lebanon and Israel and Iran. The Iranians have said that, following the assassination attack on the Hamas leader Ismael Haniyeh, they may launch an attack on Israel at any time. Iranian television channels have shifted from regular programming to broadcasting military marches increasing, signalling increased alertness. Israelis have said, "If our enemy dares to attack, it will pay a heavy price" as Israel braces for retaliatory military response from Iran.
