The zeal of Apostle Paul and great men of God. Paul was told at one point in Acts 21 not to go to Jerusalem because he would be bound and he said he would go even if he would die for the sake of the Lord. Wow, so much motivation that the people who were there couldn't persuade him. And he went. What is the driving force? Elijah at one point said he is the only prophet left and did wonders for the Lord. He told the Lord, I am the only prophet left. For me, this is a strong motivation. They came to a point when they thought that they are the only men of God left. And they have assumed that if they don't do the work of God, no one else will do it. This is the zeal of great men of God, great prophets, Apostles etc. So when they are discouraged, tired, threatened, they say nooo... if I don't do it, no one will do it. And they understood that God need them as much as they need God. And remember the Lord God will do nothing unless He reveals his secrets to His servant the prophet. And remember God saying to us in Psalms 82 to defend the poor and fatherless. This is a typical prayer we make to God but God is actually asking us to do it. May God grant us the zeal for His work. God bless. Watch, like, share to reach others. #dennis_onuigbo
