Dear Uncle Tom,

You have always been my hero all the way through since when I was a little boy.

You saw me through those most difficult times when I was too hot to handle by anyone else. You saved me by not only taking me into your home with your family but also by providing the model of a man.

God bless you, Uncle Tom. Thank you. You saved my life once and then you did it again! You’re my Saint Uncle Tom.

The kindness you showed me throughout my life is a model I will carry forever. It will pass forward in everything I do.

God bless you, Uncle Tom. I love you. My heart carries with you.

Godspeed, my great Uncle Tom.

I love you.
