As former Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina fled the country amid widespread civil unrest, protesters stormed Ganabhaban, her official residence, to let out one, unified ‘yoink!’ Everything that had physical form was up for grabs, whether animal, vegetable or mineral, alive or not alive, nailed down or not nailed down, and in at least three cases, whether or not it was a major part of the building’s infrastructure.

A brief list includes the PM’s official biryani and korma, a goat, several ducks, a rabbit, a guard dog, chairs, fans, sarees, part of a statue, chickens, a PlayStation 4 still in its box, some swans and geese not in a box, kitchen utensils, the air conditioning systems, tables, her cat, a chest freezer, a fridge-freezer, fridge without a freezer, the bed linen, several houseplants, weightlifting paraphernalia, the ceiling lights, a wall mural, a clock, and one of the protesters really did catch a fish this big.
