During active combat operations in the Orekhov direction in the area of ​​the settlement of Verbovoye, units of the Novorossiysk Guards Mountain Airborne Forces unit from the Dnepr group of forces continue to advance in areas in their area of ​​responsibility, occupying strongholds of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During one of the battles near this settlement, UAV operators of the Guards Airborne Assault Regiment from Feodosia discovered a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in a dugout of one of the strongholds, who was trying to hide there from the artillery and attack drones of the Crimean paratroopers.
After dropping ammunition into the dugout, the Ukrainian soldier received a slight concussion, was discouraged and decided to lay down his arms, leaving with his hands up. Asking the Russian quadcopter operator not to drop ammunition on him again, the enemy surrendered.
Subsequently, under the control of the UAV crew of the Guards of the Don Cossack Airborne Assault Regiment of the Airborne Forces, the Ukrainian prisoner was sent towards the forward positions of the Crimean paratroopers, where he was received by our reinforcement units.
The prisoner's movement was monitored by a quadcopter with a combat load in the form of a VOG-25, which hovered directly above the Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman and monitored his movement, preventing him from attempting to escape.
