Individuals arrested in connection with last week’s nationwide riots have appeared in court.

The unrest began in Southport following the fatal stabbing of three girls, and spread to various cities, fueled by far-right misinformation online.

Among those in court was a 14-year-old boy from Liverpool, who admitted to violent disorder.

He was part of a group that set off fireworks towards the public and police during the Liverpool city center riots.

With no prior convictions, the boy expressed regret for his actions and was granted bail with a restriction from entering Liverpool city center until sentencing on August 27.

William Nelson Morgan, a 69-year-old welder from Walton, also appeared in court, Sky News has reported.
