Bangladeshis take sledgehammer to golden statue of founder

Protesters in Dhaka climbed atop a statue of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's father, state founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and began chiseling away at the head with a sledgehammer. Hasina resigned and fled the country on Monday (August 5) after hundreds of people were killed in a crackdown on demonstrations.
