This mineral 20+5+8 (+4+9) fertilizer provides long-lasting and efficient nutrition through the gradual release of nitrogen. This prevents sudden growth spurts and reduces water loss and thatching. It contains ammonium nitrogen, magnesium, and iron, which promote a strong green color and help prevent moss formation. The product is a dust-free, fine granular granulate (1-3 mm) that dissolves with minimal precipitation and can be applied manually or with a mechanical spreader.

20% Nitrogen for Growth:
Nitrogen is crucial for plant growth. Pro Turf & Lawn Fertilizer, being a purely mineral fertilizer, offers nitrogen partly in nitrate form which is immediately available to plants, leading to quick growth. Depending on the form of nitrogen, inhibitors, or coating, the effect can last up to 8 months, whereas most mineral fertilizers work for about 4 weeks. It’s important to follow the recommended dosages to avoid over-fertilization, leaching, and burning.

5% Phosphorus for Air and Water Management:
Phosphorus aids in granule formation, which improves the air and water management of the soil. This also reduces the risk of erosion and crusting. Phosphorus stabilizes the soil and supports the energy growth of plants, creating bridges between humus particles.

8% Potassium for Cell Tissue Strengthening:
Potassium strengthens the plant’s cell tissue, making it more resistant to weather conditions, crucial during the cold spells of early spring and autumn. It enhances water uptake and is important for the formation of new leaves.

4% Magnesium for Stable Energy Balance:
Magnesium, readily available to plants, is essential for maintaining a stable energy balance and crucial for the formation of proteins, carbohydrates, and vitamins. It plays a key role in metabolic processes.

1% Iron for Healthy, Vigorous Greenery:
Iron, central to chlorophyll, ensures a healthy, vigorous green color. Iron deficiency leads to yellowing of leaves. It also helps kill moss but should be used cautiously near pavements to avoid rust stains.

9% Sulfur to Enhance Nitrogen Efficiency:
Sulfur is necessary to regulate nitrate levels in plants and improve the efficiency of nitrogen fertilization. A deficiency in sulfur can cause the leaves to appear lighter due to reduced formation of chloroplasts and chlorophyll.

Usage Instructions

The application of this fertilizer should occur 1 to 2 days after mowing on a dry lawn. To achieve an optimal distribution pattern, half of the amount should be spread both lengthwise and crosswise. After application on a wet lawn or after a long dry period, it is important to water intensively. A follow-up fertilization is recommended after 10 to 12 weeks. Regular watering ensures even growth. Ideally, the fertilized area should not be walked on or mowed until the fertilizer has completely dissolved.

Application is possible throughout the growing season from March to October. Recommendation: once in March/April, once in June/July, and once in September/October. Increase to four applications in areas of vigorous growth and intensive use. For sports fields, golf greens, and fairways, four applications per year are also recommended. The final application should typically occur by October at the latest.

Caution: The product contains iron. Do not apply on paving or clothing as it may cause stains. Immediately remove the product from paving or other solid surfaces.

Dosage for Lawns/Sports Fields/Golf Courses
Recommended Quantities: Spread 20-35 g/m² at a time on dry grass.
Ideally, apply a few days after mowing on a dry surface. Then water with a minimum of 10 mm.
Duration of effect: 10 to 12 weeks.
Application period: March to October. Spread 3 to 4 times a year, depending on the intensity of use.
Do not overdose. Official recommendations take precedence.

Storage

This fertilizer can be stored for up to 2 years without quality loss if kept in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Protect from moisture, direct sunlight, and temperatures above 25°C. Seal opened packages well. Keep out of reach of children and pets. Do not let the fertilizer enter wastewater or open waters. Use remaining amounts for the intended purpose.
