Europe joins global stock selloff after Asian 'panic selling'

European stock markets joined a global selloff on Monday morning, but seemed set to avoid the massive tumble seen in Asia, where Japan's Nikkei index lost over 12% amid fears about a possible U.S. recession. Julian Satterthwaite reports.
