BIG SPOTTED BASS - Lake Lanier Bass Fishing

Alex and I met up in between our houses again to go hit Lake Lanier, a lake that both of us are becoming very fond of because of its clear water.

There was a No FFS tournament out here the weekend before, and watching the results, we came in figuring they would be all over beds and up shallow. We caught plenty but the big ones were nowhere to be found.

We ended up finding a great population of them suspended out off of the main lake banks and in main lake pockets at the end of our second day. Needless to say, it's important to listen to the fish and not go in with any preconceived notions. As anglers we often fish how we WANT to, rather than listening to what the fish are telling us.
