Democrats worry Kamala was never properly vetted (8-4-24)

Either the Trump campaign has deliberately turned incompetent the past two weeks, or they have the material to blow up her presidential aspirations, and they’re waiting until after the Democratic convention to unleash it. I think the latter.

Mark Halperin says today: “The question of the vetting of the vice-president herself. A point I’ve made here repeatedly: People assume that if you’ve run for state-wide office and run, that if you’ve been a senator or a vice-president, then you’ve been vetted at a level sufficient that there are no more surprises coming. We saw over the weekend that’s not true. Is there more information about her coming out? There’s deep concern at high levels of the Democratic party that there will be.”
