My Nicaragua Home Was Burgled! 🇳🇮

It's true, someone "broke into" our property and stole some stuff from our laundry area. Everyone is safe, but this is a good time to explore house security in Nicaragua.

Petty theft is a major concern in Nicaragua, but violent crime is not. Having someone get into our home area to steal anything is concerning, but honestly it is not the big concern that it would be if we were in North America. This is actually a pretty minor issue. Just a crime of opportunity.
