An introductory video for a series exploring the musicology of the Beatles songs, in order of their release. Some questions this series will address: Who actually wrote the songs? Who performed them on the albums? Were any of them really composed by the Beatles? What did the Beatles learn from the cover songs they played, and were their influences felt in their songs? In this video, we will look at information given about these topics from the book, “the Memoirs of Billy Shears”.
