Floods threaten famine-stricken displacement camp in Sudan

A camp in Sudan's conflict-torn Darfur region is facing a new influx of displaced people while floods threaten to contaminate water and sanitation facilities, according to satellite imagery published on Friday (August 2). A report by food security experts also found the site was struck by famine due to the war and aid delivery restrictions on Thursday (August 1). Arrthy Thayaparan reports.
