Olympics: A Christian Perspective - Dare to Tell the Truth - Episode 1

Welcome to our weekly podcast "Dare to Tell the Truth" hosted by Rev. Roy Graves and Pastor Christopher Bond, brought to you by First Light Foundation of Hope. In this week's episode, we will be discussing the biblical and societal connotations of the Olympic opening ceremonies and will be exploring the Christian's role in a sinful world.
Each week we will discuss a host of topics and examine their Biblical realities or falsities. We intend to cover topics and issues that perhaps aren't being discussed or taught often enough within the body of Christ.
Our conversations may be controversial socially, politically and biblically but are fully intended to provoke believers and unbelievers alike to action.
We believe in many cases the North American Body of Christ has become weak and complacent due, in part, to poor teaching, compromised standards and a lack of true faith and commitment to God.
We also believe that time is running short, the Age of Grace will soon run its course. God has a plan for the remnant and you are intended to be a part of that plan....to speak the bold truth in love and to be part of a church on mission walking in the truth and authority of the Word of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit bringing influence to the world we live in.
