EVACUATION DAY AS FLAMES CREST PALISADE MOUNTAIN

Day 2 (Part 2) of the Alexander Fire (7.30.24) .. After much foot dragging throughout the day, I finally got my marching orders in the form of some big flames torching the top of Palisade Mountain! As much as I wanted to hold out there, and am now still regretting leaving with reports of under staffed firefighters and neighbors pitching in to save homes .. I reluctantly left. But not before capturing some more EPIC shots of the fire burning over Palisade! For all of those sending their prayers and wondering what became of us, we're camped out up above Glen Haven right now, still on mandatory evac but a safer distance from the fire. Went down to Drake yesterday, and hope to post that more recent footage here as soon as possbiel. Stay Safe and God Bless!
