Body Cam: Milwaukee Police Pursuit, Officer-Involved Shooting

Six people were arrested after the driver led Milwaukee Police on a high-speed chase in a stolen vehicle on June 20, 2024. Officers ordered the people inside to get out of the vehicle but the driver instead put the SUV into reverse toward police.

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office charged 18-year-old Semira Dean, 17-year-old Calveyon Jeans, 18-year-old Ashley Patterson and 17-year-old Tyrone Rogers with a combined 20 crimes. Two other people, a 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl, were also arrested at the scene; it is unclear if they will face charges.

Jeans was the driver according to police and was shot in the arm and jaw. Patterson, who was "visibly pregnant," had gunshot wounds to her head and back; the unborn baby did not survive. The other four people in the car included Dean, Rodgers, a 16-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl. They were also taken to a hospital for minor injuries.
