Thinking about switching my usual SMG 2ndary weapon to the F2000. Should I switch?

It's a strong, solid weapon, but I'm definitely feeling the loss of damage at close range. I also have to lose two Critical Hit Damage mods to bring the F2000 close to max Critical Hit Chance. That's another loss in damage against Sleipnir.
