The big debate on fairness in women’s sports

So we have been seeing the big debate on fairness in women’s sports when it comes to trans athletes, now we see in the Olympics were a boxer that has been previously rejected from competing in women’s events because of having male chromosomes was allowed to compete at the last minute and hit their opponent so hard that the female athlete from Italy feared for her safety quit.
What is going on and why all of a sudden was this athlete suddenly allowed to compete.
Here in the US 26 states are suing over laws that protect transgenders that allow biological males to use women’s facilities. This is a big issue that can cause some major issues and open the door to sexual assaults on women by sexual predators claiming to be women to carry out their crimes.
This has to stop.
