Welcome to this week's edition of Africa Today. We are focusing on Kenya, where for weeks, Kenyans have been rallying across the country against the government.

What began as protests against proposals imposed by the International Monetary Fund on a sharp increase in taxes on essential goods and rampant corruption has now escalated into calls for the president to step down.
