Africa remains under the influence of its former colonizers. Countries like Morocco, Ivory Coast, Tunisia, Congo, Kenya, Gabon, and Cameroon, among others, continue to be dominated by these powers, alongside a few new ones. The leaders of these nations are often seen as being bought and paid for, willing to sell out their countries to maintain their power and enjoy their wealth in the West. Despite Africa's vast resources, its people remain in poverty and face modern-day slavery. The UN and other international organizations, rather than helping, often seem to serve the interests of these colonizers, profiting from Africa's plight.
