UK police officers injured in Southport riot after three girls killed in knife attack

Dozens of volunteers have repaired the damage caused during a riot in Southport on Tuesday night.

At least 39 police officers were injured in the UK town, with 27 taken to hospital, and a police vehicle was set on fire.

According to local residents, rioters attacked a mosque and smashed walls to use bricks as missiles.
