Today's TOPIC: PROOFS OF TRUE DEDICATION.

SCRIPTURE: But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6 verse 33 to 34; from N.I.V. hallelujah!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: It is not enough to do the Master’s Will; it is important to do it speedily.

You are welcome to the Month of August. I decree that in this Eight month of 2024, our year of Above-Only Existence, God shall perfect all that concerns you, in Jesus’ Name.

In the church of God today, many people claim to be dedicated to God, but in reality, not many are truly dedicated to God.

This brings us to the question: what are the proofs of true dedication? What do we see in the life of someone who is truly dedicated to God?
I will give you two proofs in our study today.
#1. Hearing and being attentive to the Longings of the Master.

A truly dedicated Christian hears the longings of his Master.
Hearing and being attentive to the longing of the Master is one sign that confirms dedication to God. A dedicated child of God is always in touch with the Heartbeat of God. He feels what God feels. He is sensitive to the Desires of God.

A dedicated child of God is someone who is not just a church member or worker, but one who hears and understands the longings of the Master.

You know, it is not possible to effectively serve a master whose needs you don’t know. It is when you understand the passion and heartbeat of God that you can serve Him effectively and successfully. Until you understand His needs, your life cannot bring pleasure to Him.

#2. Moving at the speed of the Master’s Thoughts and Longings.

This is the situation where the Wish of God is your immediate command. It is not a situation where you are waiting to be begged, coerced or cajoled into doing something for God. You don’t wait for unnecessary or extra explanations to do things for God.

When you sense a burden in the Heart of God, you act immediately to attend to that burden. You cannot watch the Master in need and not act urgently. A brutally dedicated child of God is not a kingdom time waster. For him, it is not enough to do the Master’s Will; it is important to do it speedily.

It is not what you do for God that even matters the most; it is how fast you do it. It is how quickly or urgently you respond to His biddings. So, don’t be a person who does things sluggishly for God.

Remember this: It is not enough to do the Master’s Will; it is important to do it speedily.

Take this ASSIGNMENT with you:
#1. Make up your mind to know and understand the Yearnings, Longings and Passions of the Master.
#2. Move speedily to attend to the Demands of the Master. Yes sir!

We take on our PRAYER: Lord, I ask for a fresh grace to understand Your Yearnings and Longings. I receive divine empowerment to do speedily what You want me to do, Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!

We start with Isaiah chapter 52, Awake, awake!Put on your strength, O Zion;Put on your beautiful garments,O Jerusalem, the holy city!For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you. Isaiah chapter 53, Who has believed our report?And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? Isaiah chapter 54, “Sing, O barren,You who have not borne!Break forth into singing, and cry aloud,You who have not labored with child!For more are the children of the desolate Than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. “Enlarge the place of your tent,And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings;Do not spare;Lengthen your cords,And strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left,And your descendants will inherit the nations,And make the desolate cities inhabited. “Do not fear, for you will not be ashamed;Neither be disgraced, for you will not be put to shame;For you will forget the shame of your youth,And will not remember the reproach of your widowhood anymore. Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me.Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire,Who brings forth an instrument for his work;And I have created the spoiler to destroy. No weapon formed against you shall prosper,And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn.This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,And their righteousness is from Me,”Says the Lord.
