Al Jazeera journalist and his cameraman killed in Israeli attack on Gaza

Al Jazeera Arabic journalist Ismail al-Ghoul and his cameraman Rami al-Refee have been killed in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip.

The strike on Wednesday targeted a car near the Aidia area west of Gaza City, according to initial information.

This is not the first time the Israeli Army has targeted journalists - many of them, working for Al Jazeera.

Journalists working in areas of conflict are protected under international humanitarian law. Israel has been accused of violating that law repeatedly.

Palestinian journalists say Israel is trying to kill those telling the world what's happening in Gaza.
