5 Reasons People Fail on a Keto Diet & How to Fix it!
1. Eating over 20g of carbohydrates daily can mess with your body's ability to enter Ketosis. Ketosis is where all the benefits on a keto diet begin.
I. Eat 20g of carbs or less to ensure you enter ketosis without a problem.
2. Processed keto snacks contain many junk food ingredients that can sabotage your metabolism. Some of these are Seed oils, MSG, Sucralose, Aspartame, and artificial chemicals.
I. Don't eat low-carb or keto snacks as they can kick you out of Ketosis.
3. Some people are still cooking with seed oils such as Soy, Corn, Vegetable, Margarine, Canola, Grapeseed, and other Omega 6 oils that can disrupt your metabolism.
I. Instead, cook with Butter, Tallow, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Ghee.
4. Some people are not eating enough animal-based protein which can lead to problems like chronic fatigue, low energy, hunger, and stalled weight loss.
I. Eat more animal-based protein like Beef, Chicken, Lamb, and Bison.
II. Eat at least 8oz of meat per meal to feel great.
5. Eating too much fat can actually stall weight loss if that is your goal on the keto diet. This usually happens with people who eat fat bombs throughout the day and drink Bulletproof Coffee.
I. Of course add enough fat for your energy needs and cut some fat if you want to lose weight.
