Gina Carano Calls Kathleen Kennedy to Court

On Tuesday the legal team for Gina Carano submitted a list of witnesses to be deposited which include former Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, and The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal.

This is in relation to the lawsuit Gina Carano brought against Disney and Lucasfilm over the company choosing to fire her over views she expressed on her personal social media accounts. Under California law where the lawsuit is being brought, political views of employees are protected. Disney is arguing they have a right to terminate employment of anyone if they express views contrary to the company. However, that would contradict Disney’s public position that the company is politically neutral.
