"How are we going to get through this?" Such a meta question, because this looks awful and it's hard to even finish this trailer. Lionsgate has unveiled the second and final trailer for Borderlands, a video game movie that has been in the works for years. This was shot in 2021 and has been delayed from release until this year - landing in August. If anyone cares? Based on the popular video game series set on the abandoned fictional planet of Pandora – where people search for a mysterious relic. "The fate of the universe could be in their hands but they'll be fighting for something more: each other." Directed by Eli Roth, this sci-fi action movie stars Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Kevin Hart as Roland, Jack Black as Claptrap, Jamie Lee Curtis as Dr. Patricia Tannis, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Florian Munteanu as Krieg, along with Haley Bennett, Edgar Ramírez, Bobby Lee, Olivier Richters, Janina Gavankar, Cheyenne Jackson, and Gina Gershon as Mad Moxxi. This footage looks overly stylized yet dull, pointlessly flashy, extremely dumb, and entirely lifeless. So the bad video game movie curse lives on! This one seems entirely skippable.
