The word love has been misconstrued in so many ways in our world of today where some people see it to mean romantic feelings, sexual desires or attachment based on sexual attraction amongst others; but in Christendom, things are redefined for the believer in Christ where we come to the knowledge and understanding that love is the full embodiment of who God is; He is the very definition of love and encapsulates the true attributes of what love is, which is unconditional and unfailing. Hence, to love is to know God; and whoever does not know God does not love, and hence, is not born of God.
