10,500 Athletes from all over the globe will gather to compete in the SUMMER OLYMPICS in Paris, France. However, frustration at the National Government is due to at all of their tax dollars being spent on the Games and not on helping the needy or the poor areas within the City. Parisians' anger is channeling into the River Seine with their human waste at the exact moment President Macron and French mayor Anne Hidalgo are supposed to swim in the River in honor of the games. This as the International Olympic Committee is being called hypocritical in their banning of Russian and Belarus athletes due to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine while ignoring the conflict in the Middle East. On this episode of Perspective, Scottie Nell Hughes asks her panel of sports experts (Sports Analyst, Steve Christakos; Sportscaster, Ben Holden; and Helen Lensky, Prof Emeritus Uni Toronto, and author of “Inside the Olympic Industry - Power, Politics & Activism”), will an event which is supposed to unite the world in the name of sportsmanship and showcase the best of a Country leave a tarnished and disappointing reflection upon France?
