Invasive Bush-honeysuckle: Mechanical Removal (pt. 3) - Pulling the Shrub Stub

This video is part 3 of a 4 part series. I put this together hoping that my video helps landowners and technicians alike when tackling bush-honeysuckle removal when doing the mechanical removal. This treatment goes along with a typical NRCS conservation program where you tackle these treatments in a three treatment process. First stage is heavy mechanical treatment on foot, where no heavy equipment is allowed. There system calls for two follow-up treatments spaced apart roughly 6 months.

I am working on a property where the land owner is focused on using as little chemical as possible, so I take the extra effort in using the pulling out method of treatment INSTEAD of just spraying the stumps with roundup. The tool I am using is a Pullerbear Pro XL (https://pullerbear.com/), but a similar model (the Pullerbear Pro XL 1-2-3) may be great for when you have multiple stems of a 1-2" width. I have not tried that model yet so I can not vouch for it being faster or slower then the model I currently use.

Please keep safe out there in the forest, and take a moment to enjoy being out in amongst the trees.
