2024 Candidate for U.S. House Colorado District 3 - James Wiley | Libertarian Candidate

James Wiley, dubbed by Colorado Pols as the "Libertarian Avenger," hails from Colorado Springs, where he spent his early months before relocating with his family to the former Soviet Union. After 15 years abroad, Wiley returned to Pueblo, Colorado, where he graduated from Pueblo County High School in 2011. Continuing his education, he attended CU Boulder for three years, majoring in computer science and biology, all while being politically active, notably caucusing for Ron Paul and participating in the Occupy movement.

Wiley's journey led him to various roles in his community, including serving as a Senator for his university's business school and later as the Executive Director of Information Technology. Despite initially attempting to distance himself from politics, he found himself drawn back, disillusioned by the corruption within the political system. He strategically aligned with the Democratic Party in the 2016 Colorado presidential caucus to support Bernie Sanders, only to return to the Libertarian Party, his true political home, shortly after.

His professional endeavors spanned technology, finance, and marketing, with a focus on entrepreneurship. However, the events of 2020 catalyzed a significant shift in his trajectory. Faced with the onset of the pandemic, Wiley transitioned to essential work, caring for dementia patients in a medical rehabilitation facility. His subsequent resignation and entry into activism marked a commitment to political, civil, and human rights causes.

Wiley's advocacy extends to electoral integrity, evident in his involvement in legal battles against election fraud and his efforts to expose and combat criminal cartels involved in ballot and human trafficking. His dedication to defending voting rights and combating corruption underscores his core values of putting country above party and prioritizing principles over political expediency. Additionally, his involvement in initiatives such as Project Thaler and Wave of Hope reflects a commitment to community empowerment and social justice.
