Things are not looking good for FBI Director Chris Wray, as his conspiracy theories about the attempt on Trump's life have been debunked.

In glorious fashion, it was an unexpected person who put the theory to rest.

Chris Wray claimed that the bullet that hit Trump's ear may not have been a bullet after all, insinuating that it could have been “glass” or “shrapnel.”

Well today, Paul Abbate, the FBI Deputy Director, debunked his own boss as he testified that such claims that something else hit Trump's ear have “never been raised.”

SEN. JOHN KENNEDY: “Is there any doubt in your mind or in the collective mind of the FBI that President Trump was shot in the ear by a bullet fired by the assassin?”

FBI DEPUTY DIRECTOR PAUL ABBATE: “There is absolutely no doubt in the FBI’s mind … There never had been.”
