A modern interpretation of the 1918 song "A Call to All" by Leon Berg.

Time period: 1918, The Great War/ World War 1
Original lyrics:

It's a call, a call to all
It rings from mountains to the sea

It's echoes roam in far off home
And down in sunny Tennessee

It's a call, a call to all
With red, white, blue blood in each vein
To come along, ten miles strong
To do their share for Uncle Sam again
And from here and from there and from everywhere
Comes the answer to Sam:
"We will do our share, We will buy all the bonds you may have in store"

For our love for you grow daily more and more
Soon you'll have Kaiser Bill and his Family
Sing the "Star Spangled Banner" to each jubilee

For the "Watch on the Rhine" will be simply a shine
Where our boys marching to Germany
Hear the roat at our shore
Coming from across the sea
It's the voice of our boys

With appeals to you and me
In their chords ring these words
"We will give our blood for you.
We will fight; day and night if you buy a bond or two"
Hear the two.
