Plants vs Zombies 2 - Epic Adventure Quest - Wild West Wipeout - July/Aug 2024

Wild West Wipeout was offered between July 29, 2024 and August 12, 2023. These eight (8) levels are more difficult than the original Wild West levels and is intended for those players with leveled up plants. Completing these eight (8) levels awards the player 80 Gems.

The plants used are the Core plants + the three (3) most recently released seedium plants:
• MayBee
• Scaredy-shroom
• Bamboo Spartan

This is a very difficult Zomboss. For many Zombosses, one can just drop plants randomly and they'll do enough damage to destroy Zomboss. That will not work with this one. This Zomboss will fire missiles that actually hit plants more than they miss.

That would just make this level challenging. However those chickens also need to be handled and the only reliable plant that can remove them is Spikeweed. (Sometimes, chickens can slip through the electrified field generated by Electric Currant.)

Another factor is that there is no long range attack. The only reliable attack is the Hypnotized Gargantuar - melee style. While there generally is plenty of plant food and Hypno-shrooms to make this happen, the Zomboss does not take damage as much as the player would like.

The Internet says there is a way to quickly eliminate this Zomboss - hypnotize a Wrangler zombie and when it takes damage, he will drop his chickens and they will finish off the Zomboss. This is an interesting idea. However we have not been able to reliably execute it. These Wrangler zombies tend to be very close to other zombies and there simply is no way to reliably get a Wrangler to eat the poisoned plant versus another plant.

Now that the reward for a clear is only 25 gems, and considering the difficulty of this Zomboss, it's just not worth the time to attempt this multiple times. We have videos on clearing it as mentioned above.
