However, life took a turn for Clint during the economic downturn of the early 2000s and the subsequent financial crash in 2008. He found himself unemployed and struggling to make ends meet, eventually facing homelessness. This experience profoundly impacted Clint, instilling in him a deep empathy for the plight of the working class and underserved communities. Through perseverance and the support of family, he pulled himself out of poverty once again, but this time with a renewed purpose—to advocate for those facing similar struggles and to fight for social and economic justice.

Clint's platform for his congressional candidacy in Maryland District 2 is rooted in his personal experiences and values. He is a vocal supporter of issues such as pro-choice rights, gun control measures, wage garnishment reform, and LGBTQ+ equality. Additionally, he is passionate about implementing programs to address homelessness, provide job training opportunities, and raise the federal minimum wage to $21.85 an hour. His proposed Poverty to Profession Program aims to empower individuals from disenfranchised communities by offering training in various trades and professions, ultimately fostering job growth and economic stability.

In addition to his domestic policy priorities, Clint advocates for comprehensive immigration reform that prioritizes humane treatment of immigrants and streamlines the path to legal citizenship.
