Steele - trailer skills session 2 condensed - 30 July 2024

Moving Steele's trailer skills forward. First session ended with him willing to follow me in calmly and back out calmly even stopping calmly with his front hooves still in the trailer. https://rumble.com/v58p3uc-oakley-first-session-trailer-skills-27-july-2024.html ---- Session 2 lasted a bit over an hour - and I condensed the video to less than 24 minutes by chopping out repetitive practice segments - noting how much time was cut out so you have a good idea of how much patient persistent insistence was required to get to the next phase in the session. By the end of session 2 he is sending in well and will tail tug out but has not fully committed to tail tugging out well (meaning on occasion you need to touch the lines still to get him to back up - he sticks a bit when only tugging his tail - but he will make the connection). --- I apologize that I failed to tell my phone camera to use the mic I clipped on my shirt - oops. To try and make up for that deficit I used Windows Movie Maker to boost volume as much as was possible - but volume would have been better had I told the phone camera to use the mic.

Training horses always involves some risk of injury (or even death) to the horse, the trainer, any spectators, equipment used, etc. - this risk is totally your own as you will be making your own judgements on what to do. As with any suggestions on any subject you must weigh them out for yourself and proceed accordingly - at your own risk.

Remember to intentionally, on purpose, learn of God each day by prayerfully reading, studying, and pondering upon God's word each day. Talk to God in prayer as your Heavenly Father who would like for you to be His friend. Find out what He would like you to do for Him as His friend and go and do it for Him as His friend.
