When you are in survival mode, you are basically experiencing emotions such as anger, shame, apathy, guilt, and envy regularly. Moreover, you experience these emotions more than love, joy, peace, and happiness. This makes you feel drained and basically takes out the zest for life.

So what do you do if you are stuck in survival mode?

The best thing you can do is stop telling yourself the same story.

Overthinking ruins your peace of mind.

When you experience emotions such as anger, shame, guilt, or sadness, you experience them for just a couple of minutes, but your mind starts to connect these emotions with other things that happened in the past. Essentially amplifying these emotions and putting you in a downward spiral. In a way, you are creating your own depression.

So the first step is to stop overthinking and find a medium to express your emotions. It may be a physical expression such as working out, or a creative expression such as any artistic or musical output.

This creates space in your mind.

Just doing something you are passionate about for 30 minutes to 1 hour a day puts you in a high vibrational frequency where you feel happiness, passion, and joy, essentially pulling you out of this survival mode.

But the survival mode emotions are not inherently bad, as these are essential emotions that you require to survive and push yourself even further. So don't eliminate them but also don't let them consume you in the process.

Eventually, if you are consistent in doing things you are actually passionate about every single day, this vibration will take over, and soon you will primarily be vibrating on a vibration of love, peace, joy, and happiness, essentially putting you out of this survival mode.
