Don’t believe me that Trump didn’t mean he’s going to destroy democracy? Here’s another clip from earlier in the speech where he references the fact that Christians disproportionately don’t vote—and that they must in this very important election. And again, he specifies that he’s talking about election reform once he’s in office and Republicans have hopefully taken Congress and again that getting to that point is—in his view—the most significant election of our time.
Once again, when Trump said Christians “won’t have to do it anymore” regarding voting, he was referencing the fact that he’ll have the country cleaned up so well and have voting cleaned up too. I disagree with him, but he was most decidedly NOT saying that he was going to do away with elections. 😂
