God's judgement on rebellion. God treats all the same, even his prophets and prophetess. He disciplines His people. In chapters 13 & 14, Amy teaches us about Joshua and Caleb, God's trusted spies, and the other ten spies. The lesser story of Joshua actually points to the greater story of Jesus. Come along with us as we learn about giants, the sons of Anak, Nimrod, and despite God's promise, some of the spies report that the land cannot be conquered. Why would the giants/nephilim want this land for themselves? Do you face adversity with resentment towards God or with unbelief and fear? This story is a good reminder not to act on our emotions during times of trouble, but to lean on God's promises and His Word. For two years, God has been patient and ten times the people have failed Him. God is righteous and true and he delivers judgement, does this make Him a mean God or a just God?

This is a verse-by-verse Bible study, allowing deep understanding and context of God's Word. This audio-only recording was adapted from a live Zoom meeting that originally took place on 07/21/24.
