Governor Whitmer has issued a state of emergency for 17 counties across the state following different weather outbreaks, including flooding and tornadoes. Included in the nearly eleven-million-dollars of funding from the state's Disaster and Emergency Contingency Fund is more than one-point-six-million-dollars in funds for Berrien, Branch, Cass, and Kalamazoo counties.
