How do Carnivores get their nutrients

RDAs (recommended daily allowances) for all the vitamins and minerals we’re supposed to get are based on people that eat the standard American diet (SAD)

Most people on a SAD are eating a bunch of sugar, processed foods, seed oils, and anti-nutrients that adversely affect nutrient absorption from the foods eaten alongside the junk…and even the plants 😬

That means we likely don’t need quite as many vitamins and minerals if we’re only eating meat. YET, you’re still going to get more of them by only eating meat 🤷‍♀️

The same holds true for vitamin C which competes with glucose for transport in the body. If you’re not eating carbs, vitamin C doesn’t have to compete so you don’t need as much of it in your diet.

Animal products are incredibly nutrient dense and your body is able to actually absorb all those nutrients. That’s because we were made to be meat eaters. No wonder the carnivore diet is helping so many people get healthy.
