Chatchai Market is a popular morning seafood and fresh market in Hua Hin for Thai and non-Thai tourists. The market was construct from reinforced concrete with the 7 connecting half-circle roof to indicate that it was built in the reign of King Rama VII.

It has been the famous market that was built in 1953, the reign of King Rama VII. With the popularity of Hua Hin growing for tourists as well as the popularity of the area for the Thai royals the late Thai king ordered it to be constructed since it was near the royal palace.

Located in the heart of Hua Hin, Chatchai Market is a lively and bustling marketplace offering a wide range of products. It’s open from 5am to about 3pm. It’s a great way to shop for fresh food as well as experience a bit of Thai culture.
