The Official Skunk Works Night Time eBike Ride | Buena Park/ La Palma CA

With all the craziness in the world lately, I was really looking forward to this night and it finally came! We had 11 guys with their electric bikes all charged up, headlights and tail lights mounted and passenger pegs and a backrest for my Pops on my big Fucare Libra. My little pooch, Maggie rode in her basket on the other Libra with brother Kurt.

We had a good meal and rolled the machines to the front yard and the men lined up in front of their bikes. The sun went down and we made a stop to say Hi to one of our brothers who could not join us. It was nice and dark by the time that we hit the bike trail. It was quite a sight to see the long line of lights from the bikes on the path. We all had a blast!

I believe that the official count was 14 skunks we saw on the trail last night. We try to count them only only on the the first leg of the ride where the city of La Palma ends and we are at the border of Cerritos. Our record skunk count was 31 of those little stinkers on a recent ride with brother Joker. They were everywhere! It was great fellowship to ride with my guys and we are planning to ride it again and bring some girls along with us next time.

A couple of our regular riders couldn't make it so we will do it again soon. Maggie got her skunk squeaky toy, we sported our skunk T shirts and one of our team leaders sported the skunk Daniel Boone cap, so we were all in the spirit! Next one? To be announced!
