French Creek: Low Bid to GAMA Auto

These were taken in July of 2024. The French Creek is slated for A massive unnecessary flood control project.
The creek provides a natural habitat for deer, and many other species. Additionally, if the creek is covered in concrete there will be less drainage into natural underground cisterns and possible streams. The flow has been blocked by a 12+ foot landfill on the site owned by Bonded Joint Ventures. The waste in the site is from the 1970s and prior. Items like asbestos laden shingles may cause cancer and be leaching chemicals in our water. We need to remove the contents or get it sealed up on the sides which are eroding into the French and Leon Creek. This video shows a “clean” creek. The other side is not.
