The 2024 Olympics opening ceremony is being slammed with some planning to boycott the games in protest following a part of the ceremony which showed what appeared to be a nod to Leonardo da Vinci's painting 'The Last Supper'.

“I am a Christian, and this did offend me it also offended a lot of people who just want to watch the Olympics because it unites people around the world on a common interest of the enjoyment of sport,” Ms Rae said.

“They were 100 per cent mocking god and even if they weren’t what they did was absolute trash.”
