Surely, watching your sluggish and drowsy state after dinner, you have often asked yourself the question: "Why do you want to sleep after a meal?" Often, it happens that after a delicious and hearty meal, you want to take a nap and give your body a little rest. And this biological process does not depend on age, gender or race, it doesn’t even choose the time and place when we just slip into a carb coma.

The guy on this video has chosen the metro in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia as the perfect place for his after meal zzz’s. And why not. After all those buns hit his stomach and activated the gastrointestinal tract, all his blood flow shifted from the muscles and the brain into the stomach and intestines to aid digestion. So when there's less blood in the brain brain, the feeling of tiredness kicks in. No wonder he had so peacefully zoned out and become an Internet celeb.

It might be a bit too late for this guy, but how do we avoid something like this happening to us, get out of it and back to winning at life when that happens? Easy. Drink plenty of water, avoid alcohol and food high on carbs, do a little bit of exercise right after the meal, try not to stuff your face with large-sized meals and go into the habit of taking probiotics.
